Lucky Bamboo, botanical name Draceana, is a tropical plant of the Lily family with naked branches ending in tufts of
sword shaped leaves. Its origin is South East Asia and now becomes a unique indoor plant from nature with a long
life.

Lucky Bamboo enjoys indoor environments and dislikes the plant in clean water, making sure to change it at least
once a month. One inch of water level is needed at all times. High water levels may induce excessive roots.

Asian peoples believe bamboo is lucky and brings wealth. The round shape with layers gives you good Feng Shui
(Fortune).

Please do not transplant Lucky Bamboo into soil.

LUCKY BAMBOO
Botanical name: Dracaena Sanderiana

These plants are believed to bring good luck, fortune, wealth, happiness and a long life. In order to
generate the energy and to create harmony, it is recommended to put the bamboo in the East side
of the house, or on the left side of the room when facing room from door.

How to care for your lucky bamboo:
1.        Light: the lucky bamboo is a houseplant, so it prefers a moderate to bright light area,
but DO NOT expose to direct sun.
2.        Temperature: No temperature lower than 45 F. DO NOT place near a heater or air conditioner.
3.        Watering: the lucky bamboo plant is a water plant. To maintain a 2-3” height,
water twice a week. Change your plant’s water once a week. Using drinking
water or filtered water will be more efficient in plant growth. No soft or distilled water.

Great gift idea for your child or friend away from home.

My daughter and boyfriend was in Columbus for the week-end. Considering they were busy till late a snack/fruit basket for their hotel room was perfect for them. They asked about
things that she would like and included those things into the crate. The crate was waiting for them in there hotel room and let me say it was very welcome after a long day. Everything was
wonderful. The staff was SO helpful and even e-mailed me a picture of the basket. Although my daughter and her friend Really enjoyed their gift, I enjoyed it just as much. As a mother it
was a good feeling knowing that at least they would have something good to eat though-out the week-end.
